Bike Month and the return of Shop Saturdays!

May starts Monday and May = Bike Month!!! We're excited to partner up with the city of Salisbury and Rowan Moves/Healthy Rowan to encourage and celebrate biking all month long. Take a look at our page dedicated to all the bike month activities HERE. There are a lot of fun challenges and incentives to keep you rolling through May and beyond.

We are opening the shop on first and third Saturdays beginning May 6th. Join us at the shop from 12-4 PM May 6th and 20th - tune up your ride or find the gear you need to be safe out there! We have lights, locks, tool bags, helmets and more in stock. 

We've also got some great community ride opportunities coming up. Join us for Rowan Moves "Choose your own adventure" ride on May 12th at 5:30. We'll take a 8-10 mile greenway cruise and likely stop along the way for refreshments. Then Sunday May 14th (Yes, Mothers Day!) join us for a community ride from Yadkin River Park to Boones Cave. This ride will help a young cyclist and Rowan Rockhound meet his Scout cycling merit badge requirements - all are invited! Route approx 22 miles.

Check out the Bike Month punch card - we've got them at the shop! Visit a local business by bike and get your card initialed. Once you've visited 5 places, turn in your card for a prize and a chance at our end of bike month grand prize!
